Lying Awake Poem

I lay on a mattress,
At a friends,
Pretending to sleep,
Taping my fingers,
Over the keys,
Forgetting to rhyme,
And clicking auto-correct,
Thinking of you,
To pass the time,
Wish you were online,
Though I don't think you would,
Getting restless,
Tired and out of element,
On a mattress,
At my friends.
